Off-platform demand radar — Cole's checklist + two-sided radar expansion

The rule

"Has this game idea been done outside Roblox before — and worked?" Proven demand elsewhere + no good Roblox fulfillment = candidate. Never vibes — quantifiable demand signals: ratings/votes counts, creator coverage + views, store downloads, "where can I play this?" comments (kids watching PC games they can't access = unmet demand spoken out loud; produced Hide or Die ~1B visits), dormant hits with no modern version.

Source menu (priority order)

  1. TikTok challenges → cheap minigames (Bomb Chip 260M, Lying Challenge 78M, Rubber Band Watermelon 20M visits). 2. Flash/browser portals — CrazyGames (Unity 3D = easy port), Cool Math, Newgrounds (The Forge ← Jack Smith; Abyss ← Fisher Cat). 3. Game Pass/Steam — dumb down adult mechanics (Quarantine Zone clones). 4. iOS/Google Play charts (incl. fake-mobile-ad concepts, 11M visits). 5. Kids' games + current trend reskin (My Singing Brainrot ← My Singing Monsters, 300M). 6. Minecraft/Garry's Mod classics (Prop Hunt → Hide or Die).

The translation skill

Mechanic simplification for 9-year-olds is the scarce move (converges with "simple scales, fancy fails").
