SELL CARS — Evidence Pack (sections 0–3) + Prototype Questions

> Ideation-stage ammunition, not a spec. Pulled from the bloom-brain teardown corpus (Car Flipper, Dealership Tycoon, Roanoke VA Driving RP, Sell Lemons) on 2026-08-03. Every number is from a teardown.

0. Positioning

1. Core loop — what the parents prove

Car Flipper's 10-second beat (proven at 9.2k CCU): container fills over time (incl. offline) → claim → rarity reveal → press "repair" to pump value (+$, +MaxSpeed) → drive to Auction → sell → cash. One mechanic: claim + pump. Feels good via rarity drama + number-go-up. Dealership's two-loop (proven 3 years): display cars → passive drip ↔ drive/race → active cash. The alternation is the rhythm: passive drip means the base works while you play the active layer. The sell-cars candidate beat: buy cheap (auction/container/rarity) → prep/pump (repair, detail — juice-heavy, tap-light) → drive it yourself to the buyer → haggle → sell → reinvest in lot/garage → better inventory. The driving leg is the differentiator — it's where the Driving RP parent enters the loop instead of sitting next to it.

2. Systems — patterns to assemble (with the anti-patterns)

3. Economy — cribbed numbers

4. Prototype questions (what the grey box must PROVE before any spec)

  1. Is the 10-second flip beat fun with zero art? buy → pump → sell, stripped grey. If not fun grey, stop here.
  2. Does driving earn its place? Is driving the car to the buyer more fun than a sell button? This is the whitespace bet — if the drive is a chore, we're just another dealership tycoon in a contested cell.
  3. Mobile tap budget: flip beat + drive leg in ≤3 taps to the core action (Tizzy ceiling).
  4. Two-loop rhythm: does passive drip + active driving alternate pleasantly, or do they fight?
  5. Is haggling juicy? The negotiation beat as a 20-second mini-game — Sell Lemons proved it works; prove it works for cars.

5. Live competitor notes

Car Flipper monetization density is whale-shaped (gacha kits + 1999 R$ Mythicals) — an opening for a fair-frame competitor. Dealership's update cadence went stale (last update 2026-03-30) — the reference economy is asleep; a live-operated version of it has an open lane.
